In order to provide the IDEA students with a first-rate facility to support the educational mission, Stoiber+Associates Architects developed a master plan for the re-imagination of the facility.

The 2017 renovation of IDEA Public Charter School was the first phase of the master plan and included new classroom layouts, a new HVAC system, and upgraded fixtures and finishes throughout.

 

The next phase of the master plan (illustrated in the video walk-through) will be a glazed building entrance, leading directly to a new administration space, followed by a 2-story sky lit atrium lobby/student commons, complete with terraced lounge seating. This aspect of the master plan aims not only improve circulation, security, and school interaction, but to make the building entrance a focal point of the local community, and the student commons the hub of the student community.
