Stoiber + Associates, PC was established in 1983 and is a professional corporation licensed in the District of Columbia and Illinois and registered to practice architecture in Maryland, Virginia, the District of Columbia (CBE Certified – up to 12 “Preference Points” including 3 points as a SBE), Delaware, and with the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards.  The firm offers complete architectural services on a wide variety of commercial, institutional and housing projects, and is committed to quality design, fiscal responsibility, contextual sensitivity, and responsiveness to client needs.   We have fully integrated LEED policies and are actively incorporating advanced energy design and environmentally-friendly building strategies into even the most limited-budget projects.

 

We have avoided specialization and instead have developed a diverse practice where the experience gained on one project type is applied and utilized on other project types.  As a result, our practice has developed a successful design process rather than following a design formula.  There has, however, been a consistent thread of commercial, institutional, and non-profit projects within the urban context which has influenced much of the firm’s design.

 

A team approach is applied to all projects. The team consisting of a principal, a project architect, an interior designer, engineers, and other appropriate consultants who see the project through from the programming phase through construction administration. This approach assures consistency and continuity throughout the project.  

 

The office maintains a dedicated staff of experienced architects and interior designers, fully versed in and equipped with the latest CAD and digital visualization capabilities.
