This colorful Bethany Beach home is located on a prominent site along Delaware's Garfield Parkway - with such high visibility, the nearby iconic historic Indian River Lifesaving Station (IRLSS) was chosen as a stylistic model.

The exterior features cedar beveled siding, steeply sloping roofs and craftsman detailing at the overhangs and dormers. Other details include a low wrapping porch around the East side flanked by tapered Craftsman columns, a two car garage, and an outdoor shower for a quick post-beach rinse. Inside, the open kitchen flows into a breakfast room, the stairs and railings take cues from the exterior column detailing, and wood-burning fireplaces add warmth to the family room and the master bedroom above.
