The Charmery is a Baltimore mainstay for hand-crafted premium ice cream, located in the colorful neighborhood of Hampden (home of the musical "Hairspray", and the annual "HONfest" festival). The renovation of their new shop included the fit-out of an existing ground floor retail tenant space (previously an abandonded pharmacy), and finishing the lower level for office space and additional storage. This hot spot for cool treats now boasts a new ice cream preparation area, displays, bathrooms, customer seating, and storage on the lower level with a custom-built walk-in freezer for their latest creations. On the outside, neighborhood passersby can taste a scoop of creativity courtesy of a full exterior refresh with new storefront, entrance door, signage.
